Highergroud Homeschool Academy is a K–12 learning community for families who want their child known by name, taught by qualified teachers, and given a plan built around the way they actually learn.
Scholars learn with us fully online and virtually, and in person — you choose the format that suits your scholar, and you can change it as the year goes on.

Homeschooling works best when families are not doing it alone. Highergroud pairs each scholar with a personalized learning plan, a qualified teacher who reviews their work, and a community of families walking the same road.
You keep the closeness of learning at home. We bring the structure, the standards, and the records that make a K–12 education hold together — year after year, through graduation.

- 03Build the planWe write a personalized learning plan for the year and walk you through it.
- 04Begin the yearYour scholar starts, and we check in regularly to keep the plan working.
Kindergarten through twelfth grade
Every grade band, and no gaps between them.
A scholar can begin in kindergarten and finish with a transcript in hand. The plan grows with them instead of restarting each August.
Kindergarten
First formal steps: early literacy, number sense, and a love of learning.
Elementary K–5
Core reading, writing, and math foundations, plus science and social studies.
Middle School 6–8
Study skills, deeper writing, pre-algebra and beyond, growing independence.
High School 9–12
Full transcript work: coursework, credits, and graduation planning.
